I can't speak for anyone else here but personally I see no problem with trying a place that you thought might be more appropriate for your personal health, nor with discovering otherwise and returning here. the ultimate goal of this place is for people to find the support they need, and while we hope this place offers support it can't be all things to all people. You certainly weren't rude or critical or anything at all, the opposite in fact, in expressing that you thought you found a place that might be more in tune with your needs.

That said I also don't think there is any reason to have to "give up" membership here in order to try out or even frequent another site. If both places fill a certain aspect of support that you need I don't see any problem with being an active member at both sites. Many internet communities do frown on cross posting, posting urls to "competing" sites and such... I'm not sure what the policy is here but that is not what you were doing. Visiting another site is not "advertising" another site. Of course confidentiality across the different places should be respected within posts, so I wouldn't reference a post here on another site, nor vice versa, without permission from the poster and possibly doc john.

I'm glad you are back and hope you can continue to find help here or wherever it is available for you.
