I think it would be a good idea to ask her why she wants you to discontinue the Adderall. Maybe she has some reason, like you have some risk factor for heart problems or something. (I'm just throwing that out there, not meaning to imply you do or that that would necessarily contraindicate Adderall.) But maybe she has a reason that does make sense. It seems odd she wouldn't tell you, though. If she doesn't have a reason, but is just prejudiced against taking meds for ADHD, then I think look for a new doc. Or have the doc who prescribes your Adderall call her and have a talk.
