I am so glad to hear you went to a woman. My first exam was done by a woman--at my insistence. Since I have been married, I have been to some men for gyno stuff, and both my babies were delivered by men. But the last few years I have decided that I will try to always go to women for gyno check-ups. After all, they have the parts, too. And I have found that they are less clumsy with the procedure. I suggest to any woman who is really bothered by this process that she find a woman doctor.
