I personally would call being stuck in a closet with a bat (animal) emotional abuse, I also consider being stuck in a closet with a bat (wooden) emotional abuse because there had to be something going emotional going on that you or whoever put you there needed you to be in the closet.

regardless of who it is - boyfriend, relative, husband, stranger and no matter what the situation be it walking on the street, a date, or time at home --- rape is defined as sexual intercourse where one person does not want the sex and the other person continues with the act. Rape is abuse.

Hang in there. Talk with your therapist about the flashbacks I have flashbacks too and I can tell you from experience they will stop.
