I think it's a good idea to call again, and use her office phone this time. You never know what happens to a person's cell phone. I have misplaced mine several times or been unable to charge it for various reasons, etc. Her office phone shouldn't have these problems.

Also, I recently had an experience where I was present when a pdoc was fired without any warning. He just had to get his coat and briefcase and head on out the door forever, without being permitted to contact any of his clients. All those patients had to be rescheduled with someone else.

So you never know what is happening. Could be a family emergency has called her away. I know a good pdoc is hard to find, so if you really like this pdoc besides this phone problem, and her treatment is helping you, I would persevere. And discuss it when you you see her next. If you're not so keen on this pdoc, maybe this phone incident will be the straw that broke the camel's back and you'll leave her.
