There is some good advice in the earlier posts.
Journaling is very useful, as it allows me to look back. Apart from the things listed above, it also often makes me realise if some thoughts were totally out of line, incorrect or unnecessary. I also use a journal as a starting point for therapy.
Try and see a T, which will help you come to terms with the diagnosis, and also teach you coping skills.
Some meds have suicidal thoughts as a side-effect; ironically. Is it possible that your meds have these side effects?
