we have confidence in you!

I know it's hard to have confidence in yourself for many of us (me included!), but one of the things I think that helps develop confidence is not to knock yourself down when you do make mistakes. Those of us who have low self-esteem, in particular, have a tendency to give up and beat up on ourselves when we try something new and make mistakes. You have to step back, realize everyone makes mistakes, learn from your mistakes, and remember that not everyone picks up things at the same pace. Some of us take a little longer, and that's ok. It doesn't mean you won't be good at something.
