Are you asking all of those questions at one time? Like one after the other without giving her a chance to respond?

I know my husband gets very aggravated with all of my questions sometimes - and he is also an only child.

Maybe instead of asking so many direct questions, you could ask one general question, like "tell me about the party" which would actually cover all of your questions.

and then you have to wait for her to answer.....not everyone answers as fast as we would like them to.
