Hello there,

I have been in the psych hospital for almost 4 weeks. Almost everyone here smokes but me, which is a huge temptation. I'd never smoked before, but a couple of days ago I tried 2 cigarettes. I got a head high, which lasted a little, and nauseous, but it went away. I felt fine after.

Then yesterday, I smoked just one cigarette, and then began having such bad muscle spasms in my legs (I had to be put in a wheelchair to get back upstairs, I was kicking so bad).

I guess I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I'm also worried because I'm afraid that I might be getting addicted to cigarettes. I don't like how they feel, I just enjoy smoking socially.
