No love,
SlatkaMala and all the other ladies who you torment with your unwelcome visits.
How many of you ladies deal with PMDD? How do the symptoms manifest for you? For me, I am SUPER weepy. I will cry at anything. I end up feeling extreme depression, sometimes if it's bad even suicidal. I end up feeling like everyone hates my guts and wants me to go away. I don't want to leave the house. I cry cry cry all the damned time. I don't get mean with PMDD, but I am just really weepy, clingy and kicked in the gut depressed.
My Pdoc has been scratching his head trying to figure out how to fix this. So far no luck. Have any of you gals found a way to fix this?

I used to have unbelievable PMDD so I know where you're coming from.
You mentioend your Pdoc. What doc is that exactly? Because if it's not a Gyno you need one.

Have you tried birth control pills. Not for birth control of course but to even out your hormones. I know it helps lots of women. I personally tried several but it didn't work for me. I was set try to try the pill that lets you have a period like four times a year but I wound up getting my ovaries removed so that wasn't necessary.
Not that I"m recommending that! There's a lot of other things to try before that and I went through years of trying them. I also had other medical reasons for having the ovaries out. In my case it did help my PMDD.
But do some research I know there's a lot of diffrent thins that can help and you have to find what's right for you.
As others have mentioned there's certain antidepressants that help PMDD.You don't have to be depressed for them to help. There's birth control pills. There's Lupron, but that's something you really have to read about first to see if it's for you. Some women love it some hate it. I was on it a while prior to losing my ovaries and it did help me with the PMDD..unfortunately you can not take it steady and have to go on it for a few months, then off of it for a few months on it for a few months etc.
But there's stuff out there that might help you . You need to find a good doc/Gyno that understands how bad PMDD is making your life, and do some research on drugs , herbs, meditaion etc. that might help.
