the first computer I bought wasn't even disk! it was cassette tape and no graphics, except for mathematical shapes...no color.... dos only yeah. I could even program that! LOL

Yes, I agree... ppl tend to fear the unknown... and ppl also learn differently from others...so one type of learn how to information might not fit all!
