I take Geodon for schizoaffective disorder. As with all medications side effects can vary with individuals. But for me, in the past I was on a high dose (max) and I experienced akathisia and would become lightheaded when standing up in the morning. Currently, I'm on a moderate dose and am experiencing some speech problems but thankfully no lightheadedness or akathesia. Also for me, Geodon has been weight neutral and my prolactin levels are good. Overall, aside from the side effects, I think it's a good med as it has truly managed my disorder.
