but good if you get what I mean). Because of my state of mind, I did ask if he was okay the next day and told him his lipstick was perfect, and it was. He had taken my advice

We were pretty chatty after that and swapped stories. The ward nurses were worried at first but then we would laugh with them.....
The fluidity and changing temperature of the sec unit is an organism in itself. I learnt a lot being there, about life, about hardship and about violence and strangely about love and all its varieties. Despite some of their violent unpredictabilities, I loved them the same.
