Hi Jen,

Sounds good to me.

I have thought of a really positive thing about your plan. I know that youngsters like stability and familiarity, and going back to your home area will be great for them. Texas will just seem like a long holiday, and then they can settle back into a routine in a place they know and with friends they know.

Maybe you knew deep down what was the right thing to do, and it just came out when it had to.

We can always take holidays in the sun, but home is home. I have a friend from Vermont who lived in Spain for 26 years because of a family feud. Later in life, when she wasn't so well, she went home to Vermont. This happens all the time. People go home.

As for feeling stressed, I aways remember that the illness is still with me, 24/7 and try to keep it separate from what I'm doing. I don't let the illness pull my strings if I can help it.

Good luck, Jen, you're doing OK IMHO.

M :cool

PS - Because my parents moved around a lot, I don't have a feeling of home about any part of the country, but we stayed put for our daughter and she has a strong attachment to the South West of England. That kind of attachment is one of the gifts we can give to our kids.
