What type of hair do you have?
My hair is super fine (medium to light brown in color) and I have never had much luck with salon highlights because they always leave the stuff in too long and so it comes out like bleached streaks. Maybe its too strong for super-fine thin hair?
So instead I use the product Sun-In and it works really well and the price is great. But if your hair is thicker or darker then a salon would be better. Do you know anyone who has highlights you like? It's good to find someone you already know does a good job...
