My PNP prescribes focalin a lot for ADHD so she must like it for certain patients for some reason. She does not prescribe it for me, though. (I am on Vyvanse.) I am glad you have called your prescribing doctor. Keep in close touch with him/her about the side effects your daughter is having. The doc will want to know so he/she can make changes if necessary.

FWIW, I have taken a couple of different psych meds and had a horrible first few days on them, but them the side effects went away after that.
