I'm starting Lexapro now, along with my Lamictal.

The Lamictal is for BP II (not surprisingly), and the Lexapro is for anxiety and OCD.

My doctor is having me take 10mg of Lexapro for a week, then 20mg.

I'm hoping that I don't react badly to it...my experience with SSRIs has not been the best, although I've never taken them in conjunction with a mood stabilizer before, so things might be different this time around...I'm certainly hoping that they are.

My doctor told me to take it in the morning as it can be activating, so I'm going to try that and see how it goes. I hope that it is though since Lamictal is sedating for me, and I don't need any more sedation.

It also better be worth it...I have insurance, and the prescription still cost me $45 for just a month! It's absurd!
