There is a difference between anger and violence.
Acting out anger can result in violence.
Christ didn't attack any people physically.
The posts are in the general forum, under anger, not under violence.
The research cited was studied in University in the early 70s, so it isn't new data, though it continues to be supported.
A good release of anger is preferable to violence.
Personally attacking someone who posts isn't usually considered acceptable behavior. And if you do, and are called on it, it is only considerate to respond to the questions.
IF a violence forum is created, I will not view it because of possible triggering. But I am angry like the rest of the group. Maybe I am farther along in my therapy in this aspect, but I don't wish to think that. Maybe I have just seen what violence does to ppl - senders and receivers - and recognize it more readily, and realize it isn't worth it?
...I can misspeak like the best of us
