Is there any way they can check on it before they operate? What kind of treatment is available for chronic testicular pain? Anything?

I wouldn't ponder on this too long, either...if its testicular cancer--you need to catch it as soon as possible...

Could you check with another doc, or see what other things this doc thinks could be done?
