i think splintered is right.

also, sometimes when a person isnt allowed to have feelings, they do the logical thing and disconnect from them almost completely. so, at those times, their emotions may manifest as physical feelings (tightness in the chest, headaches, pains, nausea, etc.) it might be a good start to let your therapist know that you arent sure about your emotions at the moment, but ________ is how you feel in your body.
