They did check the bladder and kidney with the ct scan as well, and everything was normal in that aspect. I did talk with the dr today and he said he thinks the problem is isolated to my epididymis only and the chances of there being cancer there is less than 5%. The epididymis can develop problems that produce significant pain. How it is treated will depend on the underlying cause (STD, bacterial infection, certain medications). It's important to have your doctor find out whether the problem is definitely in the epididymis and, if so, the underlying cause.
