just being there, on her terms will be the best thing you can do. for some reason, when people die, others are hesitant to be around their loved ones. People are so uncomfortable with the concept of death.

When our daughter died, one of my friends was just "there." She didn't try to talk.. didn't refrain from talking.. she was just "there." It was the greatest gift she could have given us.

It is easy to celebrate people's blessings. It is difficult to be there when they are grieving, but I think its the latter than defines friendship.
