Social security required you to have a payee? How old are you? I was my son's payee when he was a minor.

My therapists wanted me to get a payee when I was spending my money recklessly for a couple of years but I refused because I couldn't have Paypal so I wouldn't have been able to sell things on ebay/internet.

Doesn't your payee give your a certain amount of "spending cash" for each week? The people who I knew from group therapy that had payees got a set amount each week like $20 or so that they used to buy sodas and stuff.
