I'm sorry to share some heartbreaking news about one of our members...

According to a trusted source, member babygirl2201028 (Erica) passed away Saturday afternoon. She apparently took an overdose of medications and her husband didn't find her in time.

I didn't know babygirl2201028 well, but I do know she was in a lot of emotional pain. She spent a lot of time in chat and had a lot of friends here. I just have to add, when somebody takes their own life, sometimes people who are left feel guilty -- survivor's guilt it's called -- for "not doing more" to try and stop them. If you feel that way, please know -- this is not your fault. If someone is committed to dying, there's little a person can do in the end.

We will miss her and hope she finally found the peace she was seeking.
