Good luck Jan, I'm pretty sure it takes two weeks for all of the nicotine to be out of your system but you could try drinking friut juices. Drinking juices like cranberry have the same chemical effect as stress so it depletes the nicotine levels in your body. Here are a couple of links to some quitting articles and audio lessons.

I believe you can do this! We are lucky here in New Zealand that they are going to ban tobacco displays and one supermarket chain volunterily hide their smokes. it is a real teptation when you first quit. Reward your self with a choc bar or something nice when you get through the grocery shopping without buying any won't you.
