I guess I'll be the "Lone Ranger" here.
I'm one of the 5% of the population who LOVES to speak in public and that is one of my dreams. In general conversation, same thing. I probably talk too much and reveal too much about myself *shrugs* but my T says that's being open. I DO prefer a one-on-one conversation or a small group rather than interacting with a crowd.
When I am on the downside of depression then I don't want to talk to ANYONE. I screen my calls and usually don't take them then; don't go online; basically isolate big time. So when I disclose to people I live with a depressive illness, people are very surprised. BUT, they don't see me at my worst.
