I don't think this is a good idea at all. There are many risks in going off your meds. One of them is that you're on them for a reason! Think of what happens when you are unmedicated. You may be feeling terrible on your meds and the depression is coming back, but think of how much worse your depression would be if you weren't on them?

Some people need meds. There is just no way around that. Nobody likes to take meds. I know if I could, I'd stop taking them altogether! But I know the consequences of going off them...I'd either end up in the hospital or dead. Plain and simple. And I don't want to go through all that just because I don't like the meds. If anything, let your doctor know what's going on with you, how you're feeling, and that you want to go off the meds. That's the best thing to do.

Please stay on your meds until your doc tells you otherwise or changes them!
