I'm not familiar with Colorado Medicaid...only mine. Generally it is income based. I don't qaulify; however, in my state there is something called MEPD (Medicaid for Employeed People with Disabilities). So you need to be receiving SSDI...which it sounds you are...then you need to work. In my state, that means at least $20/month income. So I help a friend and earn $240/year. There is a sliding scale premium depending on actual income.
