A night of fun.. An interesting turn of a phrase.

Back when I was shooting up speed, we called it medicine. Not because it made us feel good, but because it kept us from feeling real bad, real sick.

That’s the problem with that stuff and just about every other drug we can snort, shoot or chug, they eventually stop making us feel good at all, and just kinda keep us from feeling all the crap that is the life of an active user.

What a sorry deal.
