That's a little trickier. For a med that has only been taken a short while - maybe a couple months - and depending on the med it wouldn't take long for it to be out of the system.

HOWEVER, for meds that have been taken a long time (in my case Zoloft & Depakote for 15 years) they have to be stopped gradually over a period of time because the brain has gotten used to them. Also there's a thing called "half lives" to drugs. I've seen some charts and posts on this but if I understand it correctly, say I take one dose of Zoloft, then the next day take another - according the half lives, I don't just have 2 dosages in my system but it multiplies somehow.
