I got turned down for Medicaid because they don't consider me disabled. I applied for SSDI, but they'll give me the same answer. I can probably get SSI, but they won't make the determination for months yet. I haven't heard about the state insurance or food stamps yet. But as far as income-producing aid programs go, I'm out of luck. . I can't even get rent assistance -- there's a freeze on the program and they aren't even taking applications for THREE YEARS.

Ah, the hell with it -- I'm going back to bed.
