I constantly have thought that I could go back to work and be just fine. What make me realize I was wrong was doing tasks that take a lot out of you. By doing so, I realized that I am not at the full potential to be able to truly help someone else right now. And often times, helping someone else feels good but does not help you. Gives you something else to think about, somewhere to focus so you don't have to reflect upon yourself and your needs. Try doing things similar. Or just try the job anyway. The very worst that happens is that you plummet and end up in the hospital. Thats the very worst. So watch for warning signs. Keep an open eye on how you are doing during your shifts and afterwards.. Maybe they are wrong. Maybe you can do it. But no one will know unless you try or try something similar.
Thanks for this!
