A diagnosis of even schizoid for some can ruin their life. They can lose their children, job and freedom. The mental health system in some parts of the world are still barbaric-- like Ohio or Bosnia. Probably seeing that too often lately with little for me to do about it. Don't even get me started on medications. For many the diagnosis does change them and most likely against their will and sanctioned by their government.
