You all are probably way ahead of me on this, but here is it anyway because it blows me away and I am being too impetuous to scan all the archives here.
I have had the lingering "theory" for years that half or better of mental illness could be ameliorated by the simple acceptance of one's self, even if it is a bit off, or even downright wacky. A sort of Zen of Insanity. A sort of Mad Lib.
Now, it turns out that certified professionals are supporting this concept and it is a very effective alternative to all kinds of meds and therapy.
