Hi there -

There are specialists who focus on perinatal psychiatry, with medication management during and after pregnancy. I needed to see one after my daughter was born so I could breastfeed. My regular pdoc wouldn't prescribe me meds while BF without the consult. I found one in your area, there may be others.

If you can't get anywhere with your regular providers, go up the psych food chain to the specialists! (This clinician is a nurse, but she has expertise in this area and can prescribe.) Good luck! (and congratulations on your pregnancy!)
