In replying to this thread I realized that a lot of people replied to me. Sometimes I take that for granted, but I realize now how important that is...just to have responses...it means a lot. It means that people were willing to take time to write to me.

It means people do care. If people didn't care, they wouldn't write to me at all. Sleeps told me that. I knew about that before I talked to Sleeps, but somehow hearing it in person made all the difference.

I think...I think it would help me a lot to get a real life T. Message board interactions just cannot compare to real life interactions. I think I've been using the forums in ways that are not healthy....I think I treat people here like they are my T sometimes.

I have to remember that people here will not respond in ways that are always helpful to me if I treat them like therapists. People here are all struggling with their own problems and I don't think I help when I ask that of people.

I'm going to try to keep that in mind from now on...how people are fragile and vulnerable here...how emotions can get the better of some here. I have to take that into consideration before being upset myself.
