Another thing you're forgetting, GL, is that because we're NOT therapists, we don't know what to do for you. We don't have the training to know whether what we say is doing more harm than good for you.

Otherwise, yes, I think you've made some good points there. I hope you can keep them in mind, as you post here.

Friends aren't the same as parents, nor therapists, nor teachers. And you can learn to interact with others, you need practice though.

Do you ever get togehter with others in your classes at school? Maybe get a study group together, and get to know the other members. That helped me when I was in college.
It's a good way to stay up with your classes, and to make friends.

Good luck, GL, and do go get a therapist. You know it will help you, and I think you know you need to do it sooner or later. How about sooner, so that you don't have to suffer as much?
