I think I understand what you are going through. I'm going through a mini breakdown right now because of my midterms. I've dropped a lot of classes over the 4 years I've been in university and I've even skipped exams. I've failed a lot of courses too. If you feel like you're not going to be able to make it through a course, it may be best to drop it. It will just take you a little longer to finish your degree.
If you think you will be able to pull the course off, it would be best to keep the class. I regret having dropped too many courses.
If however, you still feel overwhelmed, you should probably lighten your load and concentrate on your remaining classes.
