My dad has severe GAD due to work. His boss tortures him - always leaving him with the fear of being fired and thus loosing everything. I can't stand being around my father or mother bc all they talk about is DEMISE (i.e. the demise of our home, life, my school, everything). Anytime, I spend money my mother reminds me that "my father is going to loose everything, and that i'm a selfish pig for spending money - God hates you!"

I can't do it anymore. My brother who is a therapist, told me that this is just how my parents naturally are and I shouldn't let it get it me.

I don't know...I am afraid, irritated, and ANGRY at my parents, my father's evil boss, and the world as a whole **** YOU!
