Hey Lexi, can I ask how old you are? I don't know why but between age 16-18 or 19 I would get UTIs ALL THE TIME. Then age 20 it was like the year of yeast infections. My doctor said there isn't necessarily a reason and some women just get them more often than others. She also said they would decrease once I got older (haven't had a UTI in several years now) so I was just wondering if you were around that age also.

At least now you know the symptoms and can figure it out before this point because this sounds really painful. Also, maybe ask your doc for a refill just in case this is going to be a recurring thing? My doc gave me several refills for an Rx for cold sores because they just kinda pop up and by the time you get to the doc they're AWFUL!
