I kinda gave foods different point systems based on how much food was there, not by the calories. For example a piece of pizza and carrots (one meal) was 2 points and carrots alone was 1 point. A piece of cake might be 2 points though because i know its not healthy. It does't really matter what point value you give the foods. Its basically to make you aware of how much and what you are eating.
As for tae-bo i really dont know which one would be the best for you. maybe if some of your friends do it you could borrow the tape from them just to try it out before you get it yourself. other than that i think that the tae-bo bootcamp dvds are really nice because they have a variety of different ones that target different areas. It also makes the workout more fun to have a differnent workout everyday instead of the same one.
