This would be insurance fraud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plain and simple. Not to mention filing a false police report, which is also against the law. I can not speculate about the exact penalty for these offences but I beleive its safe to say it involves both jail time and a large fine.

When someone commits insurance fraud, this raises the cost for all of the rest of us.
