i believe social security admistration for ongoing SSDI can provide you with a psychiatric review if one is needed for continuation of SSDI. however, i never was asked to do this while on SSDI. i met with my caseworker upon reviews, answered her questions about my need for continuuing my benefits and that's all i had to do. it's up to the caseworker to request a psychiatric review which is highly unlikely for you. as for staying in counseling you may benefit from this due to what u shared.
as for your review...no need to worry. it's with your caseworker and a quite simple process...questions about where you are re how u feel, etc.
you should do fine. also sometimes they cancel the review altogether even if it is scheduled. but they are required to do reviews from time to time/formality. it's primarily just to continue your case.
