There's a difference in the recovery from emotional disorder and schizo disorder. The emotional disorder is much more straight forward: 1) disassociation, 2) suffering, 3) grieving and 4) self-actualization. The emotions are intact and working properly. The schizo disorder can not even start recovery till their emotions are exposed. Schizo disorders have a common suppression of emotions. This rather formidable defense is not easily over come. When the suppression reaches a state of repression recovery may not even be possible.

If your emotions exist and are functioning recovery is possible.

Recovery doesn't come in a pill. Recovery takes time and effort.
