Lisboa sounds as a good destination
they say down there
that struggle is a joy
and even if everything is falling appart
at least it is still a place of beauty

Or go down to Dubrovnik
to remind myself
of all the things one can survive
take my shoes off
and feel the history
the glorious
and the downright tragic
maybe that would give me some sense of direction right now

any place but this
I know it too well...
Need to get away just for a little while
to where everyone's beautiful
or to places where people lead real struggles
somewhere
where I could feel

I sometimes wonder
why i try so hard to leave a mark
to make sure
that when I am gone
I will not be forgotten

I don't need a street named after me
or a statue
I don't want to linger in streets I loved so when alive
after I am gone

I just want somebody
to remember my name
to remember the things I said and done
to remember that chick dressed in vibrant colors who always wanted to save the world

I don't want to
be selfishly calling on deities
when the world is falling appart
... I am just deep shade of blue
they would not answer my questions anyways
they didn't to those who asked prior to me
