I think your probably fine. Remember that the guidelines on the package are just general guidelines, if you think you need more try speaking with a pharmacist if you cant get in to the doc- they should at least be able to tell you what is safe and what is not. I have been on up to 1400 MG of ibuprofen for my back because Im allergic to opiates , both synthetic and natural. IT works for me, and although its not the best for your system, if you are only doing it once in a while you would probably be ok. Best to check though.
