Thank you all for your re-assurance....My T has supported me and moved with the changes, almost like he is doing damage control. He makes me talk about things I like to push under the rug. I have severe trust issues....yes. Once again thank you, I am not alone in my experiences and there are people here who really understand about low self-esteem.

I can't imagine therpay only taking 3 months...it took me that long just to consider trusting my T! But, I suppose if you go to a therapist just looking for coaching or skill building and you go in without trust issues, then it's probably totally possible.

Like Farmergirl said, if you're working on the same issue for 10 years, and not making any progress, then I'd question whether what you're doing is actually working. There should be progress made, but there's nothing wrong with it taking a while.
