Such is life. Thanks for your thoughts. I'd like to believe everything happens for a reason. I just wish I knew what the reason was.

The fault lies with your hub and your friend. Both have some responsibilty in the relationship.
What you should do depends on where you are now. How you feel. When things occurred, how you found out, current relationship standings, etc. I don't think that I can generalize. It's a personal decision.
