I know how it feels to be counting every penny and finding yourself short. I have SSDI and when my husband lost his job in April, we were going to have to support my family on that tiny amount. Fortunately things worked out and he found a contract job for the money. Now we have to deal with health insurance because I won't have a prescription plan right away until I can figure out what I can do with Medicare. My kids won't be covered and that is the most important thing as my oldest has Asthma.
