I do!
Hello, and welcome.
I'm proud of you for reaching out for support. And for admitting you have a problem.
Think in terms of moments, and not in days or months or weeks.
You made it through the amount of time it took to write that post wihout using. Celebrate this! And remember that dealing with just a moment is much easier than dealing with the long term.
For every amount of time you win the battle, congratulate yourself and celebrate your strength. Think of it as winning a battle against something you do not like. Think of it as a sports game, or something else competative.
Know that you will win, and that you have the strenth to get through and do this, because if you didn't you wouldn't be here right now writing the things you write.
When it feels like your hands could reach out and grab anything to help you get the drugs, busy them. Write, if it moves you. Scribble on paper, play with clay, do anything, and everything to busy them.
I also try multiple simulation sources for cravings. Try turning on the T.V., reading a book and eating something all at the same time. I find this helps get your mind caught up in other things.
And remember, this is a battle, which means that there can be many parrys to either side before the battle is won. But you can and will win this battle.
